". . . . . What must I do to be saved? And they said, 'Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you shall be saved, you and your household.'" Acts 16:30-31

The Bible says that we are all sinners. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23 "Each of us like sheep have gone astray, Each of us has turned to his own way; but the Lord has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on Him." Isaiah 53:6

Sin causes death, or separation from God. "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23

Because of the great love with which He loved us, the Father has made a way for us to be restored to Him. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16

Agreeing with God (confessing) about our sin condition and repenting (turning away) from sin then "....confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved." Romans 10:9

When we receive Christ, we experience a changed life. "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become the children of God, even to those who believe in His name...." John 1:12

We receive Christ by personal invitation. Christ says to us: "Behold, I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him." Revelation 3:20

Will you receive Christ now as your Lord and Savior? If so a simple, sincere prayer is all that is necessary. "Lord Jesus, I need You. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of my life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be." Amen

The following Scripture tells the wonderful news of the results of salvation. "Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold new things have come." II Corinthians 5:17
